The unique features of green lasers set them apart from other laser modules. Normal green lasers have the wavelength of 532 nm as compared to the red lasers that has the wavelength of 650nm. This means that green lasers have the capacity to travel more that makes them an ideal option for pointing the distant objects. Furthermore, green lasers comprise of 5225 angstrom energy at full beam. They do not have a dot or beam point like other lasers.

Green is closer to the color spectrum which makes it more visible to human eye. This makes people more sensitive to green lasers as compared to other options like blue lasers or red lasers. For the same reason people use green lasers for navigating purposes especially in dark.
